Job summary

Fengate Asset Management is seeking a Private Equity Analyst Intern to support investment origination, research and financial analysis within the Private Equity Group. The role involves building models, performing industry and company diligence, and assisting in preparing materials for investment memos and fund reporting.

Ideal candidates are undergraduate students with strong finance fundamentals, at least two years of study in business/economics, and on-track graduation in 2028/2029.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student with at least 2 years of study in business/economics and strong academics.
• On track to graduate in 2028/2029.
• Prior co-op or internship in finance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist building financial models and perform financial analysis for potential investments.
• Conduct industry and company research to evaluate opportunities.
• Prepare investment memoranda in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Support ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies and valuation work.
• Assist with deal pipeline and CRM data updates.
• Contribute to ad-hoc analyses and special projects as needed.
• Collaborate with deal team and portfolio management for strategic initiatives.
