University Pension Plan Ontario is seeking an Intern Analyst, Private Markets, for a 4-month internship in Toronto. You will support the investment team with research and analysis, gaining exposure to private markets and portfolio considerations in a growing pension plan.

Qualifications

Job description

THE ROLE

We are actively looking for an Intern Analyst, Private Markets, to join our team in May 2027, for a 4-month internship (May 2027 – August 2027). This role will be part of a growing and dynamic Investment team. The incumbent will be responsible for providing research support for projects related to private markets.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an undergraduate student to gain valuable work experience in a fast-growing, dynamic environment while being a part of a new pension plan.

This role is based in downtown Toronto in a hybrid work environment, allowing employees the flexibility to work remotely and in-office (minimum two days per week in-office).

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Secondary research and due diligence
  • Coordinating with internal and/or external stakeholders
  • Editing and writing support for internal and external presentations
  • Support asset management reporting and related deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Familiarity with / keen interest in global business, investment, and private markets
