Job summary

The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is seeking a Private Banking Client Service Associate within TD Wealth Private Wealth Management. This role supports the Senior Private Banker in delivering exceptional client service and tailored wealth management solutions to high-net-worth clients.

You will assist in onboarding, coordinate with partners, prepare reports, and help deepen client relationships while upholding the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree is preferred 3 years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in Private Banking or dealing with affluent clients.
  • Thorough knowledge of Retail Banking products, systems, and services.
  • Knowledge & understanding of commercial and retail credit principles.
  • A self-starter that works with minimal supervision.
  • Requires tact to exchange ideas and customer information concisely; handling of sensitive information.
  • Completion of the CSC or IFIC, or willingness to do so within 1 year.

Responsibilities

  • Be alert for opportunities to expand existing client and prospect relationships.
  • Produce reports and compose correspondence as required.
  • Ensure satisfactory resolution of client inquiries and coordinate responses with partners as necessary.
  • Exercise discretion in managing correspondence and confidentiality; escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Identify, suggest and participate in process improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure due diligence to support accuracy of all customer transactions.
  • Minimize operational and regulatory risk by complying with bank policies.

TD Wealth, Private Wealth Management provides high-net worth & ultra-high-net worth clients with holistic discovery and planning towards customized wealth advice and solutions. As part of TD Wealth Private Wealth Management, Private Banking specializes in offering tailored banking solutions and Credit Management to affluent HNW clients. Our Private Banker's support everyday banking transactions, personal credit management and support our client's banking needs while connecting them with the right TD Specialists to manage their wealth management needs.

This role is responsible for servicing the needs of High Net Worth (HNW) clients and ensuring that each one has a legendary client experience. As part of the team, the Private Banking Client Service Associate will provide administrative support to the Senior Private Banker (SPB) in their achievement of business results, profitability and partner referrals.

Accountabilities
  • Provide exceptional client service at every customer interaction
  • Assist in client onboarding and recommending retail solutions
  • Be alert for opportunities to expand existing client and prospect relationships
  • Produce reports and compose correspondence as required
  • Ensure satisfactory resolution of client inquiries and take ownership of coordinating responses with other Partners as necessary
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; elevate issues where appropriate
  • Identify, suggest and actively participate in process improvement opportunities
  • Ensure necessary due diligence to support the accuracy of all customer transactions / activities
  • Assume responsibility to minimize operational and regulatory risk by complying with Bank and industry Code of Conduct
Skills & Education
