Job summary

Banque Nationale du Canada is seeking a Private Banker to advise high‑net‑worth clients within the Private Banking 1859 team. You’ll build lasting client relationships, deliver tailored credit and wealth planning solutions, and partner with Wealth Advisors to advance financial objectives.

You will identify opportunities, develop new clientele, and apply advanced financial analysis to support financing and credit renewals. The role emphasizes service excellence and profitability growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with four years of relevant experience, or a completed Master’s degree and two years of relevant experience.
  • Financial Planner (FP) designation is considered an asset.
  • Solid knowledge of banking products and services in both Personal and Commercial Banking.
  • Outstanding client service, business development, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and a proven track record of building strong business relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and manage their credit portfolios.

Within the Commercial Banking & Private Banking 1859 sector, you will be part of a team of experienced professionals and report to the Senior Director, Private Banking 1859. Requirements:
