Job summary

Ontario North East District School Board invites internal and external teachers and vice-principals to apply for a pool for Vice-Principal and/or Principal roles across the North, Central and South regions. Candidates will be asked to indicate their region preferences and align with the board’s leadership expectations.

The district may use AI tools to assist in screening, though final hiring decisions rest with DSB1 staff.

Qualifications

• Copy of your 2026-2027 Ontario College of Teachers’ Certificate of Qualifications
• Reference contact information for four administrative references, one of whom must be your current supervisor and two of whom must hold leadership positions

Job description

Location: North, Central and South regions

District School BoardOntario North East invites internal and external Teachers and Vice-Principalswho are interested in becoming a Vice-Principal and/or Principal to apply forour selection process.

We are looking for leaders who caredeeply about students and staff and who will excel in their role in servingothers.

Candidates who are successful in theselection process will be placed in a pool for placement considerations in thethree regions: North, Central and South. Candidates willbe asked to indicate their preference for specific regions.

DSB1 may use Artificial Intelligence(AI) tools to assist in screening and assessing applicants, as defined underthe Employment Standards Act (ESA). AIis not used to make final hiring decisions. In DSB1, final hiring decisions aremade by DSB1 staff.
