¿¿¿¿¿dl¿¿¿¿ K¿¿¿¿ (Fort Simpson) is located on the traditional lands of the Dene and Metis People of this region at the confluence of the Liard and Mackenzie Rivers. Access to the village is by ferry, and ice road during winter months.
¿¿¿¿¿dl¿¿¿¿ K¿¿¿¿ Elementary School is a JK-6 school with approximately 75 students. Our academic and cultural programs are complemented by a variety of athletic and after school programs including soccer and traditional games.
The principal is required to provide leadership to staff and work with the District Education Authority (DEA). Like all Principal positions in the DDEC, this is a term position. The length of the term is determined by the District Education Authority (1 to 5 years) beginning, in this case as soon as possible to and extending to June 2027.

Additional education, including a master's degree in education, principal and other additional leadership qualifications from other provinces and territories, and experience teaching and leading with BC Curriculum are considered assets.
