Job summary

Intact is seeking a Principal, Software Engineering - Policy Administration System (PAS) for Personal Lines in Canada. You will own architecture, de-risk legacy migration, and drive modernization of a mission-critical Java + Angular platform used across millions of customers.

You’ll shape AI integration, data governance, and secure engineering practices. You will report to the Vice‑President, Personal Lines, Transformation & Architecture, and collaborate with Intact Lab and Data & AI teams.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering and enterprise architecture
• Deep expertise in system design and data governance
• Hands-on experience driving AI into the development lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Own target architecture and technical roadmap for PAS modernization
• Lead end-to-end delivery with accountability and decision authority
• Integrate PAS with enterprise through APIs and microservices with CI/CD and automated testing
