Job description

Description & Requirements

Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story, part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen. The Infrastructure and Platform Services (IPS) group, part of EA’s Central Tech organization, powers the platforms behind EA’s global game ecosystem. From Cloud to Commerce, Gameplay Services, Identity, Social and AI Platform, we provide reusable capabilities that let game teams focus on building world‑class experiences. We’re behind the curtain, making it all work together. Come power the future of play with us. Within IPS, the AI Platform team builds the foundational capabilities that power AI and machine learning across EA across Core AI, Generative AI and Agentic AI. We provide the underlying systems for data, compute, and features that enable teams to train and access models efficiently, deploy them reliably, and operate at scale. At a company level, we are responsible for developing AI platform foundations, governance and reusable enterprise AI capabilities – in particular, paved roads for agentic AI. Our mission is to make it simple, secure and cost‑effective for product teams, data scientists, and researchers to use large‑scale AI workflows and unlock new player and developer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Own the end‑to‑end developer and practitioner experience across AI Platform capabilities — translating deep understanding of practitioner workflows and pain points into usable, well‑adopted paved roads from onboarding through production, including documentation and customer‑language framing, and driving adoption across EA studios and teams.
  • Maintain a clear product vision and paved‑road prioritization framework that balances diverse customer needs, governance requirements, and market offerings.
  • Represent the AI Platform owner’s perspective to influence IPS product teams to augment product capabilities where appropriate for an agentic future.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to shape the technical architecture and design decisions, ensuring the creation of scalable platform capabilities and fundamentals.
  • Define governance policies and control points across AI Platform — including model access, identity, MCP registry, agent registries, and observability — to ensure enterprise AI capabilities are adopted securely and in compliance with EA’s standards.
  • Set clear objectives and key results (OKRs) to align stakeholders across the organization, promoting unity towards shared goals.
  • Influence key decisions at the VP level and above, independently resolving cross‑organizational conflicts and communicating the AI Platform strategic roadmap to executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Use metrics and user feedback to guide ongoing innovation and refinement of AI Platform offerings.
  • Build and maintain a shared view of the rapidly evolving enterprise AI landscape across engineering and product leadership — translating emerging patterns in agentic AI, model governance, and platform tooling into aligned product decisions and strategic positioning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product management/program management/software development (of which at least 6+ years are required in product management).
  • 2+ years of product management experience building and shipping AI/ML infrastructure or enterprise AI tooling, with demonstrated ability to translate complex platform capabilities into usable experiences for practitioners (e.g., model gateways, agent frameworks, compute orchestration, or LLM observability).
  • Experience defining product and functional specifications to create customer value and impact while understanding the technical aspects.
  • Experience integrating AI technologies to enhance product functionality and innovation.
  • Demonstrated results delivering large‑scale enterprise solutions/services, including roadmap development, product launches, and driving innovation.
  • Platform mindset, with an understanding of microservices architecture, REST and gRPC APIs, cloud technologies and developer platforms.
  • Experience leading geo‑distributed teams, partners, and cross‑team leadership teams.
