Job summary

AMC Consultants, now part of AFRY, seeks a Principal Mining Consultant in Canada to lead high‑impact advisory projects within the Business Transformation team. You will drive value through rigorous analysis, stakeholder engagement, and practical implementation across the mining lifecycle.

The role requires deep experience in underground hard rock mining, strong leadership and communication, and a track record in managing complex client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mining or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of industry experience; consulting experience highly desirable.
• Experience leading client engagements and teams; ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver consulting assignments; act as Project Manager when needed.
• Provide guidance, supervision, and support to junior staff and consultants.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to support AMC’s brand and project portfolio.
• Review colleagues’ work and ensure project documentation and client communications are current.
