Job summary

Alexander Mann Solutions in Toronto is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to partner with senior leadership, driving long-range planning, rolling forecasts, and strategic analysis to maximize profitability and capital efficiency.

You will build complex models, deliver executive dashboards, and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Product and Operations on performance, ROI, and budgets. MBA/CFA/CPA preferred; ERP/BI tools experience and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Progressive experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, corporate development, or strategic finance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field. MBA, CFA, or CPA designation is a must.
  • Mastery of advanced Excel modeling (DCF, multi-scenario planning, dynamic consolidation) and financial presentation building in PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience with Enterprise ERPs (NetSuite, SAP, Workday), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM/CPM) platforms, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of challenging and influencing senior executive stakeholders using data-driven arguments.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the execution of annual operating plans, rolling monthly/quarterly forecasts, and multi-year strategic financial plans across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly executive dashboards, Board of Directors presentations, and investor relations materials, translating raw financial data into strategic narratives.
  • Build, refine, and audit complex three-statement corporate models, DCF valuation models, unit economics frameworks, and scenario/sensitivity analyses for major strategic initiatives.
  • Embed with business unit leaders (Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations) to monitor performance drivers, evaluate ROI on investments, and hold department heads accountable to budgets.
  • Perform deep-dive variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget/Forecast), identify structural trends, and deliver proactive recommendations to mitigate financial risks and leverage growth drivers.
  • Support corporate development efforts by performing financial due diligence, financial integration modeling, and ad-hoc strategic project evaluations.

Key Accountabilities

What you’ll do:

Skills & Requirements
