Job summary

JobGet is seeking a Principal Data Engineer to steer data architecture for high-throughput pipelines powering real-time matching and AI features across our platform. You will own data modeling, streaming pipelines (KSQL, Flink) and batch ETL using Snowflake/dbt, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and decision-grade analytics.

You’ll mentor engineers, collaborate with product and analytics, drive data governance, and champion modern data stack adoption while shaping the strategic direction

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data engineering experience, including staff-level work in start-up environments.
• Production-grade data platforms with Snowflake and dbt.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; real-time streaming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own data architecture powering data flows, scaling, and real-time signals across the platform.
• Lead design reviews for scalability, cost, reliability, and insights.
• Architect and evolve streaming data infrastructure (KSQL, Apache Flink) and batch pipelines.
• Mentor engineers, collaborate with product/analytics, drive data governance and platform standards.
