Job summary

WSP is seeking a Principal Conveyance Engineer to lead the delivery of municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure across Ontario and Canada. You will guide multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, and delivery while shaping resilient conveyance solutions.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentorship, QA/QC oversight, and collaboration with clients and partners across the project lifecycle from feasibility to construction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
P.Eng. designation with registration in Professional Engineers Ontario.
12-15 years of experience delivering municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater projects.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
Experience QA/QC and reviewing reports/drawings.
Knowledge of trenchless technologies and hydraulic modelling.

Responsibilities

Lead technical planning, design, and delivery of municipal conveyance projects.
Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams.
Oversee engineering calculations, reports, specs, drawings, and cost estimates.
Mentor engineers and designers.
Support project pursuits and client relationships.
Contribute throughout full project lifecycle.
