WSP is seeking an Intermediate Conveyance Engineer to shape municipal water, wastewater and stormwater projects across Ontario and Canada. You will contribute to planning, design, and delivery while working with a team of specialists to grow your technical and leadership abilities.

The role emphasizes project delivery, mentoring junior staff, and building client relationships, with opportunities to advance within a global practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.
• Ability to design conveyance infrastructure including pipelines, watermains, sewers, forcemains, and pump stations.
• Proven experience in preparing technical reports, contract drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
• Knowledge of hydraulic modelling principles and related software applications.
• Experience with Municipal Class Environmental Assessments or trenchless design is a plus.
• Strong technical communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance projects.
• Develop engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Lead technical assignments and develop design solutions for conveyance infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support construction activities through shop drawings reviews, RFIs, site visits, and contractor coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development.
