Job summary

UHN Commercialization in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a Principal for Business Development and Commercialization. This individual will advance UHN's research objectives by managing stakeholder relationships and overseeing research agreements within the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, a Master’s degree preferably in a related field, and expertise in negotiating licensing agreements. This temporary full-time position offers a salary range of CAD 115,730 – 165,730 annually.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years relevant business experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in clinical and translational research environments.
• Experience negotiating and completing research support and licensing deals.

Responsibilities

• Engage researchers to translate research into licensing opportunities.
• Drive deal flow and contract execution.
• Lead negotiations for licensing and sponsored research agreements.
