Qualifications

  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of biotech industry experience.
  • Experience solving complex library prep and chemistry challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Sequence Data Diagnostics: trace data from raw signals to variant calling to assess analytical accuracy.
  • Algorithm Deconstruction: evaluate core assumptions in open-source/internal tools and prototype solutions.
  • Workflow Optimization: identify root causes of data anomalies to guide reagent formulation and pipeline improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with wet-lab scientists, software engineers, and computational teams.
  • R&D Leadership: serve as bioinformatics representative on cross-functional project teams.
