Job summary

ISG Search Inc. seeks a Principal Automation Engineer for a 12-month engagement in the Toronto area. You will lead enterprise-wide automation initiatives, shape IaC strategy, and guide engineering teams across Linux, virtualization, containers, and hybrid cloud environments.

Top candidates will have 10+ years in infrastructure automation, strong leadership, and expert use of Terraform and Ansible to implement scalable solutions with governance and security in mind.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Automation, Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise Linux environments, virtualization, and container platforms.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
