You will remain hands-on while guiding architecture, setting standards, and enabling teams to deliver a production-ready system that scales with reliability and security.

The role emphasizes cross-team alignment, architectural reviews, and mentoring senior engineers, with a focus on AI-assisted workflows and developer experience.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience defining technical strategy for complex products or platforms.
• Strong systems thinking across frontend, backend, APIs, data, infrastructure, security, and operations.
• Experience with distributed, real-time, collaborative, or stateful systems.

Responsibilities

• Define technical direction across real-time collaboration and APIs.
• Establish architectural boundaries and pragmatic build-vs-buy decisions.
• Drive engineering strategy and cross-team alignment with measurable outcomes.
