Job summary

Amazon Canada is seeking a Principal ISV Account Manager to drive AWS revenue, adoption and service penetration in strategic accounts across Canada. You will engage CXOs as well as software developers and IT architects, and develop territory coverage plans to deliver quarterly targets.

Lead cross-functional teams, negotiate deals, extend partner networks, and articulate compelling value propositions of AWS services.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in business development, partner or alliances management.
  • 7+ years direct software/cloud/SaaS sales to C-level executives.
  • Proven track record closing large-scale technology deals.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent.

Job description

As a Principal ISV Account Manager you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of Canada's leading technology businesses. Your responsibilities will include driving AWS revenue, adoption, and service penetration in strategic accounts. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. You should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets.

Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS and technology as a service (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives (where applicable). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
