Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN) – Ryedale | September Start

We’re working on behalf of a specialist residential and day school in Ryedale that provides education and care for students with a range of complex needs, including learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and autism.

This welcoming and dedicated setting is seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025, supporting pupils aged 8 to 19 in both classroom and wider learning environments.

What’s Involved:

• Supporting students on a one-to-one or small group basis
• Assisting with personal care and mobility where required
• Promoting independence, confidence, and life skills
• Collaborating with teaching staff and therapists
• Working in a calm, nurturing environment

Role Details:
️ Start Date: September 2025
️ Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
️ Contract: Long-term, with potential for permanent placement
️ Location: North Yorkshire (commutable from Ryedale, Pickering, Helmsley & surrounding areas)
