Job summary

School District No.48 (Sea to Sky) is seeking a qualified teacher for Valleycliffe Elementary School. This 1.0 F.T.E. position for the Primary/Intermediate level requires a valid BC Teaching Certificate and proven classroom experience.

Applicants should be familiar with the BC Curriculum and Competencies and have experience teaching in multi-age/grade groupings. Transcripts will be required, and employment is contingent on a Criminal Records Check.

Posting Details:

VALLEYCLIFFE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The successful candidate must:

• possess relevant university training, or its equivalent including Primary/Intermediate;
• possess relevant, successful teaching experience, including experience as a Primary and Intermediate teacher;
• be familiar with the BC Early Learning Framework, BC Student Performance Standards and new BC Curriculum and Competencies; and,
• have experience working in multi-age/grade groupings.

PLEASE NOTE: WHEN APPLYING FOR THIS POSITION, TRANSCRIPTS FOR ALL RELATED COURSEWORK WILL BE REQUIRED.

Salary range:$63,670 per year to $116,190 per year, based on category as assigned by the Teachers Qualification Service (TQS) and previous teaching experience.
