Primary Care Paramedic – Full-Time, Project/Assignment Based
Mountainview Safety Services Ltd. has ongoing industrial operations and project work requiring Primary Care Paramedics in northeastern BC and northwestern Alberta.
This position provides regular industrial assignments and scheduled rotations supporting clients across Western Canada. Assignments may include extended project work and ongoing rotational opportunities. Work schedules and assignment duration vary based on client and operational requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for PCPs seeking consistent industrial work and rotational assignments rather than occasional shift work.

Mountainview Safety’s professional field medics are responsible for providing clients with the required level of emergency medical care and medical coverage on remote and/or industrial locations. This includes provision of emergency care for sick and injured personnel on site in addition to the routine care of non-emergency patients. Medics will also be committed to actively participating in and promoting the Occupational Health and Safety programs established by our clients.

Successful candidates will be experienced providing leading edge emergency medical coverage in extreme and remote environments, with a proven ability to maintain the highest standards of professionalism while demonstrating the flexibility, positive attitude, and professionalism necessary for success in such locations.
A minimum of 2 years of experience providing remote emergency medical support services in forestry, mining, construction, or oil and gas industry is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of driving experience in Canada (required by insurance provider). Driving experience obtained outside of Canada is evaluated on a case-by-case basis by our insurance provider.

Enthusiasm for enhancing your skill set by undertaking ongoing field level medical training while on rotation.
Experience in SiteDocs and/or WorkHub considered to be an asset.
High School Diploma/GED Certification Requirements
PCP certification (ACoP and/or EMALB)
OOJ (Out of Jurisdiction) certification, if necessary
Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
Class 5 driver's licence including current driver's abstract (abstract issued within the last 30 days), minimum 3 years driving experience in Canada (required by insurance provider)
H2S Alive
TDG and WHIMIS (provided in-house during onboarding)
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen (please note that some clients have zero-tolerance policy)
Further site specific orientations may be required such as PCST (Pipeline Construction Safety Training)
