DXP | HSE Integrated Ltd. is currently seeking Primary Care Paramedics for casual shift/rotational work at Alberta work sites. We are looking for skilled professionals with a background in emergency response.

By joining our roster, you'll be first in line when projects arise, and you’ll work with a leader in industrial safety services. Casual/rotational shifts across Alberta sites provide exposure to diverse industrial environments and the opportunity to contribute to rapid medical response,

Qualifications

• Must hold PCP registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
• H2S Alive certification.
• CPR-HCP or BLS certification.
• Valid non-GDL Class 5 driver's license (Class 4 in BC forestry work).
• CSO certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide a quick response to medical emergencies in an industrial setting
• Assess and attend to patient's injuries; determine a course of treatment
• Provide first-aid or support to injured workers
• Effectively communicate status and next steps of the injured worker to emergency services
• Clean and decontaminate vehicles (mobile treatment center) and/or clinic area and maintain areas in a state of operational/medical readiness
• Ensure all reporting and communication requirements are adhered to regarding incidents, injuries and treatment
• Maintain confidential patient medical documentation and reports as per governing body requirements

Education

Registration as a Primary Care Paramedic with the Alberta College of Paramedics

H2S Alive

CPR - Health Care Provider (HCP) or Basic Life Support (BLS)

Non GDL Class 5 driver's License; Class 4 if working in BC forestry

Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

Other Requirements

• Physical demands of the role include lifting up to 50 kilos.
• Proof of registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics is required.
• Driver's abstract required showing 4 or less infractions in the last three (3) years
• Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
