Sudbury District Nurse Practitioner Clinics in Ontario is seeking an energetic Nurse Practitioner with MRP experience to join our primary care team in the Sudbury area. You will provide care to patients across the full scope of practice, perform assessments, document visits, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing with current RN(EC) registration from CNO
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Ability to travel throughout Sudbury and district
• Demonstrated computer skills, including use of electronic medical record (EMR), AI scribe tools, and web-based referral platforms
• Fluency in French and/or an Indigenous language an asset.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive health- or symptoms-directed assessments and synthesizes data from multiple sources to make a diagnosis of a disease or disorder and plan appropriate management within the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice, as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Encourages clients and their families to take responsibility for their own health care by involving them in risk factor and health problem identification, goal setting and the choices of interventions for disease treatment and prevention and health promotion
• Keeps complete, accurate, legible and timely reports of client visits, using the charting format established by Sudbury District Nurse Practitioner Clinics
• Promotes and participates in an interdisciplinary provider model. Collaborates with both providers and clients to ensure that appropriate management, referral and responses to inquiries are provided
