Job description

Position function: Reporting to the Revenue Management Manager at Caldic North America Inc., the incumbent will support all stages of project planning, from assessment and design to implementation and post-go-live validation and controls.

Scope: The Pricing Analyst will support the Revenue Management, Commercial, and IT teams in implementing accurate and appropriate pricing functionalities at Caldic. The role involves facilitating interactions between Pricing, Sales, R&D, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure successful project execution and implementation.

Major tasks and duties include:

  1. Being a key member of the Data Harmonization project team.
  2. Customer mapping and ensuring data integrity.
  3. Aligning pricing requirements and modifications for customer data changes.
  4. Assessing process impacts and working with stakeholders to implement necessary modifications.
  5. Reviewing price files with business segment directors for approval before Go-Live.
  6. Setting up mass customer trade agreements in the system under the new structure.
  7. Collaborating closely with sales, procurement, and R&D teams to ensure timely pricing updates.

Additional responsibilities include:

  1. Managing Trade Agreement entries in the system for Go-Live.
  2. Updating Price Book and Pricing Matrix for Canada and USA under the new data structure.
  3. Providing transfer pricing for food ingredients sent to Caldic USA.
  4. Partnering with Procurement to ensure accurate pricing of new products and ingredients.
  5. Supporting logistics with customer mapping and freight cost analysis.
  6. Reconstructing pricing files and tools in CE system and Excel under revised data mappings.
  7. Building data validation models to ensure accurate customer data transition.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • University degree in business, finance, or economics.
  • Process-oriented with an analytical mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing and distribution industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to implement corrective actions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work with a high sense of urgency.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
