Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst, Term Investments to join our client.

Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert

Pay Rate: Starting from $30 per hour

Location: Toronto, ON

Location Type: Onsite

Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 11 AM to 7 PM EST preferred, 9 AM to 5 PM also available

Job Responsibilities

• Monitoring pricing/product exception request inbox
• Evaluate requests for rate or price negotiations
• Product management such as calculating penalty and interest for early redemption of GICs, approving more complex cases of backdating, cancellation and amendments
• Calculate interest implications of transactions, and act on behalf of business to judiciously provide approval to proceed with exceptions
• Support team in some daily/monthly reporting needs and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations
• Analyzes competitor pricing, assesses market share and margins, and tracks customer engagement to gain a complete picture of effective pricing strategies for product offerings and determine ideal target prices
• Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  
  

Experience & Qualification Requirements

• Post-secondary degree in Business or a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Pricing analyst or other analytical experience: 3-5 years
• Beginner to intermediate Excel skills
• Analysis/problem solving background
• Ability to work with grey areas/ambiguity
