Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician for our London Construction & Forestry location to perform on-site preventive maintenance on commercial heavy equipment.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, reliable after-hours availability, and experience with heavy equipment or related trades. A valid driver’s abstract is required, and willingness to work shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating, servicing, or maintaining heavy equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on commercial heavy equipment on a scheduled basis.
• Identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose repair or adjustment solutions.
• Identify and report additional service work needs for follow-up.
• Accurately capture and report PM checklists, inspections, and work orders.
• Other duties as assigned.

Brandt is currently seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician for our London Construction & Forestry location. This individual will be responsible for completing on-site preventive maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Performing all levels of PM services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner
• Identify issues with malfunctioning equipment, analyze the root causes, and devise appropriate solutions for repairs, replacements, or adjustments
• Identifying and reporting on additional items identified that require follow-up service work by a service technician
• Ensuring the accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for the benefit of customer reporting
• Other duties as assigned

What We Look For

• Motivated, energetic, and have strong oral communication skills
• Willing to work after-hours and/or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs
• High degree of mechanical aptitude
• A recent driver’s abstract will be required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have experience operating, servicing, and/or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment
• Candidates with trade experience to a second- or third-year apprentice level are encouraged to apply
• Proven experience in contributing in a service-oriented environment working directly with customers and equipment operators are key assets
