Job summary

Linamar Corporation is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Coordinator in Ontario to act as the liaison between maintenance and operations, developing and monitoring preventative maintenance programs for the facility. You will assist in training maintenance staff and ensuring PM procedures are followed to drive reliability.

The successful candidate will coordinate downtimes, manage resources, and help keep spare parts stocked to support PM activities.

Qualifications

Credentials include a Millwright 433A license or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Maintenance software familiarity (IFS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare preventative maintenance plans / instructions and schedules aligned with maintenance goals and production needs.
Track work order completion percentage and PM recovery plans.
Assist scheduling of personnel for regular PM activities.
Coordinate planned downtimes to maximize MTBF and minimize MTTR.
Estimate labour hours, tools, and resources for work orders.
Maintain optimal stock of spare parts for PM in coordination with maintenance buyer.
Ensure adherence to PM checklists and procedures in absence of supervisor.
Develop maintenance KPIs with the maintenance manager.
Track and trend data to develop departmental metrics and benchmarks.
Plan annual major shutdowns and weekend work when production is down.
