Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Pressure Equipment Integrity Coordinator (EIT) in Calgary for a desk-based role focused on reviewing inspection data and maintaining pressure‑equipment records to support safe, compliant operation of pressure vessels, piping, tanks, and PRDs.

The ideal candidate has about five years in oil & gas integrity, an engineering degree or Engineering Technology diploma, and advanced Excel skills. Certification such as ABSA ISI or API 510/570 knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 5 years in oil & gas, mechanical integrity, inspection, or related technical work.

Responsibilities

  • Integrity Program Coordination — Support execution of the Pressure Equipment Integrity Management Program for vessels, piping, tanks, and PRDs.
  • Inspection Assessment — Review inspection reports, NDE findings, corrosion data, and technician notes to determine equipment condition and required follow-up.
  • Regulatory Interval Assignment — Apply ABSA AB506 guidance to set inspection intervals and document justification.
  • Remaining Life Calculations — Perform remaining-life and corrosion-rate calculations using API 510/570 methodologies.
  • Corrosion Trend Monitoring — Track degradation mechanisms and inspection trends to support interval optimization.
  • Repair Identification — Identify equipment requiring repair and elevate appropriately.
  • Data & Records Management — Maintain pressure-equipment records in MaxiTrak V4 and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Turnaround Coordination — Align with field integrity technicians on turnaround schedules and maintenance activities.

Pressure Equipment Integrity Coordinator (EIT)

This is a desk‑based integrity coordination role focused on reviewing inspection data, assigning regulatory intervals, and maintaining pressure‑equipment records. It suits an EIT or early‑career integrity professional with approximately five years of experience, strong computer literacy, and advanced Excel capability. The role supports safe, compliant operation of pressure vessels, piping, tanks, and pressure‑relief devices.

Key Accountabilities
  • Integrity Program Coordination — Support execution of the Pressure Equipment Integrity Management Program for vessels, piping, tanks, and PRDs.

Requirements
  • Industry Experience — Approximately 5 years in oil & gas, mechanical integrity, inspection, or related technical work.
  • Certification — ABSA ISI, TSASK Class 2, or National Board IS preferred.
  • Candidates without ISI may qualify with API 510, but must obtain ISI during employment.
  • Education — Engineering degree (EIT) or Engineering Technology diploma.
  • Technical Skills — Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation) and strong computer literacy.
  • Standards Knowledge — Familiarity with API 510, API 570, API 653, ASME VIII, ASME B31.3.
  • Analytical Skills — Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret inspection data.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8‑hour days
