Job summary

Integrated Staffing Limited is hiring a Metal Shop Labourer. You will assist with bending and shaping sheet metal parts for dispensers, starting with deburring and then training on the press brake and other areas of the metal shop.

The position offers cross-training across roles and development of manufacturing and machinery skills, with a Monday–Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. schedule and pay of $20.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must pass a clear criminal background check.
• CSA-approved steel-toed boots required.
• Mechanically inclined, dependable, and quick to learn; good verbal and written instruction comprehension.

THE JOB

Are you mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and interested in manufacturing? We're looking for a dependable Metal Shop Labourer to join a manufacturing team. In this role, you will assist with bending and shaping sheet metal parts used to build dispensers. You'll begin with less technical tasks such as deburring before being trained on the press brake and other areas of the metal shop. This position offers the opportunity to cross-train in different roles while developing your manufacturing and machinery skills.

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a clear criminal background check and CSA-approved steel-toed boots. Candidates should be mechanically inclined, dependable, quick to learn, and comfortable following verbal and written instructions. Strong communication skills, spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail are important for this role. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, perform repetitive movements, and complete basic mathematical calculations. Basic computer skills are also required, along with the ability to safely operate equipment after receiving proper training. Ear plugs and safety goggles will be provided by the client.
