Job summary

Source Display Inc. is seeking an on-site metal fabrication worker in a fast-paced shop environment in Canada.

No degree is required, and the position targets candidates with 1 to less than 7 months of experience who can read and interpret specifications. Responsibilities include inspecting shapes and dimensions, operating light to heavy metalworking equipment, welding and forming metal stock, and documenting completed work.

Qualifications

• 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
• On-site work only; there is no option to work remotely.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications.
• Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
• Document work completed.
• Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines.
• Operate presses or other forging machines to perform hot or cold forging to shape or form metal.
• Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
