The Canola Council of Canada (CCC) is seeking a President & CEO to provide strategic, collaborative leadership at a pivotal time for the organization and the broader Canadian canola sector.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will champion strategic priorities, strengthen market opportunities, and serve as the primary spokesperson for Canola's value chain while guiding innovation, trade, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement.

The Canola Council of Canada (CCC) is the national association representing Canada's canola value chain and is the first industry organization in Canada to unite major segments of an agricultural industry under a single umbrella. Representing canola growers, life science companies, grain handlers (exporters and processors), and food and feed manufacturers, the CCC serves as a collaborative platform for addressing shared challenges, advancing industry priorities, and supporting the long-term success of one of Canada's most important agricultural sectors. As the industry's collective voice and trusted convenor, the CCC works to strengthen the competitiveness, profitability, and global reputation of Canadian canola through a focus on innovation, trade and market access, targeted market development, biofuels, sustainability, and stakeholder engagement. Headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the organization plays a leading role in driving innovation, fostering collaboration across the value chain, and expanding opportunities for Canadian canola and canola products in domestic and international markets.

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the President & CEO will provide strategic, collaborative, and values-driven leadership for the Canola Council of Canada at a pivotal time for both the organization and the broader Canadian canola sector. As the national voice of the canola value chain, the CCC is uniquely positioned to convene growers, life science companies, processors, exporters, industry partners, and governments around a shared vision for growth and competitiveness. The President & CEO will champion the organization's strategic priorities, strengthen domestic and international market opportunities, advance policy and advocacy efforts, and serve as the leading spokesperson for one of Canada's most important agricultural sectors. Working closely with the Board, staff, members, industry leaders, and government stakeholders, the successful candidate will help shape the future of Canadian canola by driving innovation, market access, sustainability and value creation across the entire value chain.

The ideal candidate is a highly respected and strategic executive leader with a demonstrated ability to unite diverse stakeholders around common objectives and deliver results in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Bringing significant senior leadership experience in agriculture, agri-food, industry associations, government relations, or a related sector, they possess a deep understanding of the policy, trade, regulatory, sustainability, and market dynamics shaping the Canadian and global agricultural landscape and a proven track record of team development and organizational management. An exceptional relationship builder and communicator, the successful candidate will be equally comfortable engaging with boards, governments, grower groups, industry partners, and international stakeholders. They will combine commercial acumen with sound judgment, political savvy, and strong operational leadership and communications capabilities, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing organizational culture aligned with the CCC's mission, values, and long-term strategic objectives.
