Job summary

Fresh Prep Foods Inc in Vancouver is hiring for a production/warehouse role within a fast-growing, value-driven team. You will work in a climate-controlled area, prepare and portion fresh ingredients, and operate dicing and slicing equipment to meet meal plan specifications.

What You'll Be Doing

• You will be working your shift in an area where the temperature is maintained between 4-6 degrees Celsius (Yes, that is 4 degrees above freezing)
• Preparing and portioning a variety of fresh ingredients, such as vegetables, cheeses, sauces, and proteins, according to meal plan specifications.
• Using kitchen tools and food processing equipment to clean, cut, measure, weigh, and package ingredients into single-portion sizes.
• Operate and maintain pre-cut dicing and slicing machines to ensure accurate and efficient food processing. Working efficiently within a timed production standard to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and food-safe work environment by following health and safety protocols at all times.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, or high-paced environment preferred
• Able to work in a high-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines
• Attention to detail, care, and meticulousness
• Comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment; the warehouse is kept at between 0 to 10 degrees Celsius
• Able to stand on your feet for 8 hour shifts
• The physical capability to lift items up to 44 lbs (20 kg)
• A team-orientation person with a positive attitude, who is always seeking personal and professional growth
