Original Joe's in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a Prep Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You’ll prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and help ensure timely service while upholding food safety standards.

We value teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Previous kitchen experience is preferred but training is available; flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow with Canada's iconic restaurant brands.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience or food prep is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Ability to work well with a team and stay organized under pressure.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for service including washing, chopping, slicing, portioning, and measuring according to recipes and kitchen standards.
• Follow prep lists and direction from kitchen leadership to ensure all stations are stocked and ready for service.
• Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and rotation to support food safety and minimize waste.
• Keep your prep area clean, organized, and sanitized throughout your shift.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries, ensuring products are stored correctly.
• Support the line team during service with additional prep or basic tasks as needed.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment and workspaces.
