Job summary

Wildstone Construction in Whitehorse, Yukon, is expanding its prefab manufacturing operations and seeks a driven Prefab Manufacturing Manager to scale the facility from design to site installation. The role requires 5+ years in residential wood frame construction with project/ops management experience; prefabrication experience preferred.

Wildstone Construction is expanding into prefab manufacturing
through a new joint venture, and we’re looking for a driven leader to
help scale and shape the future of our operations in Whitehorse, YT.
As our Prefab Manufacturing Manager, you’ll oversee the full
operation of our wall panel manufacturing facility — connecting sales,
design, production, and delivery to keep projects moving efficiently
from concept to site installation. This role is ideal for someone who
enjoys creating structure, improving workflows, leading teams, and
finding practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how the shop operates day to day
while helping drive quality, efficiency, and long-term growth within the
business.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead all aspects of prefab wall panel operations, from estimating
  and design coordination through manufacturing, finishing, and shipment
  to site
• Build and support a strong shop culture by mentoring teams,
  improving processes, and ensuring safe, organized, and efficient
  operations
• Monitor production schedules, budgets, inventory, and performance
  metrics to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Support health & safety, maintain compliance with the
  Yukon Occupational Health & Safety Act and applicable workplace
  safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in residential/multi family wood frame construction,
  with previous project/operations management experience,
  prefabrication/modular experience preferred
• A strong communicator and problem solver who can coordinate across
  design, production, and field teams while managing competing priorities
• Someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-moving environment and is passionate about continuous improvement and team development
