Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. in Vaudreuil-Dorion invites you to join a manufacturing team focused on assembling photonic components. Assembler duties include cleaning, mounting, testing and sub-assembly work, with SAP transactions as needed.

You will collaborate with the Team Leader and ensure quality in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma, prior manufacturing experience, strong dexterity, and the ability to work autonomously or in a team; French and English

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Good organizational skills.
Experience with data entry is an asset.
Good manual dexterity and visual acuity.
Bilingualism (French and English) an asset.

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare parts by simple chemical cleaning procedures.
Mounting of product with epoxy and solder.
Mounting of other components, e.g. hybrid sub-assemblies, with epoxy and solder.
Hand marking of devices.
Test components and assemblies once finished.
Sub-assembly fabrication to be used on final product.
Fibre optic attachment.
The assembler may need to use the SAP system to make certain transactions.
The assembler may assist the Team Leader in the training of new employees.
Performing other related duties as required.
