Precise Design Engineering Solutions is seeking a Medical Device Assembly Technician in Amherst, Nova Scotia. You will assemble, inspect, test, and document the Raymex lift, a mobility aid used worldwide, in a regulated manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, following procedures precisely, and ensuring quality and safety while working both independently and with the team to hit production goals.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and precision in assembly and documentation.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and drawings.
• Mechanical assembly with fasteners and brackets, using hand and power tools.
• Capable of light electrical and electronic assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices and subassemblies per detailed instructions and specs.
• Perform mechanical assembly using fasteners, brackets, hardware, tools.
• Complete light electrical/electronic assembly tasks.
• Inspect products throughout assembly and conduct functional testing.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report quality or assembly issues.
• Maintain accurate production records and manufacturing docs.
• Follow quality management procedures and safety standards.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Work independently and with the team to meet production goals.
• Lift/move materials up to 50 lbs.
