No formal education required, and previous experience is not mandatory; French fluency is required. The position is permanent full-time with a 40-hour work week and a daytime schedule (07:30–17:00) with potential overtime.

Responsibilities

• Cut, grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
• Keep the work area organized and clutter-free.
• Stop machines and adjust promptly to minimise downtime when problems arise.
• Ensure grinding wheels are dressed according to specifications.
• Inspect workpieces and remove defective pieces for quality control.
• Operate machinery, including polishing and grinding equipment, to meet specs.
• Finish products by hand with tools; ensure proper surfaces.
• Maintain equipment by basic maintenance, lubrication and cleaning.
