Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Canada is seeking a BatchER to join our production team. You will prepare blends, verify materials, weigh ingredients, and deliver samples for laboratory analysis to ensure product quality.

The role requires an AEC in Chemical Processes or equivalent, 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, and forklift certification is a plus. Work is 40 hours per week on a day shift with overtime opportunities and a robust benefits program.

Qualifications

• AEC in Chemical Processes or related educational program
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Forklift operator certification (an asset)

Responsibilities

• Prepare various product blends according to established recipes
• Ensure all raw materials are available before starting production
• Verify the quality of raw materials by checking expiration dates and conducting visual and odor inspections
• Gather the raw materials required for the blends
• Accurately weigh the exact quantities of raw materials required
• Deliver samples to the laboratory for analysis and approval
• Adjust blends according to laboratory feedback and recommendations
• Store products properly after use and clean workstations to prevent contamination
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
