Job summary

RMC Group of Companies, via RM Precast, seeks a Site Assessor to evaluate residential site readiness for precast concrete installations. You will plan and conduct site visits, assess access, utilities, and safety, and report findings to the Project Manager and crews.

You will travel to Edmonton and surrounding areas, perform quality inspections, and communicate updates to clients. The role includes a benefits package, company vehicle, and development opportunities within a growing family-owned

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required and valid driver's license.
• Prior experience with CRM, estimation, or project management software.
• Residential construction experience, preferably in concrete/precast.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily site visits and optimize travel for geographic efficiency.
• Drive to Edmonton and surrounding areas to check site-readiness for precast installation.
• Report site-readiness findings to the Project Manager and installation crews.
• Communicate project updates clearly to clients and team members.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Site-Superintendent, or subcontractors to prepare sites.
• Perform basic general labour to prepare sites for installation.
• Conduct quality inspections and address structural or aesthetic concerns.
• Identify obstacles and areas for improvement before installations.
• Support safety by wearing PPE and participating in safety meetings/training.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an eager Site Assessor to join our RM Precast Team! This position will primarily be responsible for assessing residential site readiness for precast concrete installations.

Responsibilities:

• Plan daily site visits and organize visits to maximize geographical efficiency.
• Drive to sites in Edmonton and surrounding area to check site-readiness for precast installation.
• Report on site readiness to the Project Manager, Site-Superintendent, and installation crews.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating all project updates with clients.
• Coordinate and communicate with Project Manager, Site-Superintendent, or sub-contractors to prepare site for install.
• Perform basic general labour when necessary to prepare site for installation.
• Conduct quality inspections on completed work, addressing structural or aesthetic concerns as required.
• Identify and communicate obstacles, errors, and areas for improvement prior to precast installations.
• Champion safety by wearing PPE, participating in safety meetings/training, adhering to safe work practices, etc.
• Other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation, clean drivers abstract, and valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience with CRM, estimation, or project management software.
• Previous residential construction experience, preferably within the concrete or precast industries.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis.

Hours of Work:

Regular work week will be Monday through Friday 7:00am – 5:00pm. (Start and end times may be flexible). Occasional overtime is required based o the needs of the business.
