Agricultural Equipment Operators operate farm machinery and equipment to till soil, fertilize, plant, spray, irrigate, cultivate and harvest crops. They also may assist with other general farm duties.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

1. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to till soil, fertilize, plant, spray, irrigate, cultivate, and harvest crops
2. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment such as changing engine oil, greasing equipment, washing equipment, replacing bearings and belts
3. Operate other equipment and machinery relevant to the farming operations
4. Maintain and repair farm equipment and buildings
5. Ensure safety protocols are followed
6. General farm duties

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Physically fit, able to bend, stretch and kneel
2. Be safety conscious
3. Able to handle heavy loads
4. Able to adapt to changing priorities and tasks

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
