Job summary

Mustang Survival Corp. in Burnaby, BC, is seeking a Pre-Module Operator to prepare materials and assemble components at the early stages of production. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork to meet targets in a busy manufacturing environment.

The pay rate is $19 per hour, with extended health and dental benefits, Group RRSP with employer matching, and industry perks. The ideal candidate has Grade 10 education and industrial sewing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 education or equivalent.
• Industrial sewing experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
• Good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting and associated equipment, and offline operations, to support bundling activities in preparing all required materials for assembly modules.
• Maintain proper maintenance routine of equipment being used.
• Support continuous improvement by providing suggestion or participating improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and safe immediate workspace; follow all Safety Regulations and report hazards, injuries and accidents to the supervisor.

This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with team members to maintain efficient workflow and achieve production targets.WHAT WE OFFERThe pay rate is $19 per hour. Additionally, we offer extended health and dental benefits, Group RSP with employer matching, and industry perks.RESPONSIBILITIESOperate cutting and associated equipment, and offline operations, to support bundling activities in preparing all required materials for assembly modules – equipment includes but not limited to, cutter, spreader, screen print, strip cut, embroidery, heat press, programmable, RF welding machine, Die clicker, and snap/grommet fastener machine.Ensure proper maintenance routine of equipment being used.Perform manual repair by hand or manual tools as required.Support continuous improvement by providing suggestion or participating improvement initiatives.Maintains a clean and safe immediate workspace. Follows all Safety Regulations and reports all hazards, injuries and accidents to the supervisor immediately.Grade 10 education or equivalent.Industrial sewing experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.Good verbal and written communication.
