Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring a Pre-Board Screening Officer in Fredericton, NB to help protect the travelling public at the airport. You will screen passengers and belongings, monitor for prohibited items, and control access to restricted areas, while responding to alarms and participating in emergency operations.

Requirements include Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, a high school diploma or GED, a clean criminal record with RAIC eligibility, and being 18+.

Qualifications

• Must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Have a clean criminal record & eligible to obtain a RAIC (security clearance).
• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be located near Fredericton or willing to relocate before starting.

Responsibilities

• Screen the travelling public and their belongings.
• Ensure non-permitted items do not enter the secure area.
• Control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms and report any events, illegal acts or violations.
• Participate in emergency operations within the airport.
