Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP in Toronto is seeking a Practice Support Lawyer to help identify, evaluate, and implement AI-powered tools across practice groups, enhancing client service delivery through streamlined processes. Reporting to the Director of Practice Initiatives, you will curate playbooks, templates and knowledge resources, and support project management and data analytics with AI and legal tech.
You will assist in delivering training for students, associates, and clerks.

Reporting to the Director, Practice Initiatives, the Practice Support Lawyer will be embedded within our Practice Initiatives team. By working alongside leading legal professionals and leveraging modernized processes and the best of AI and legal technology, the successful candidate will assist in delivering market-leading, cost-effective, and efficient legal solutions to all practice groups and their clients.

Candidates must be called to the Bar of Ontario (or equivalent provincial bar, with eligibility for transfer) and possess a minimum of 1-2 years of post-call experience at a nationally recognized Canadian law firm. Experience in any practice area is welcomed. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be acceptable.
Therange of expected compensation for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually. Compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors including year of call, job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement, which includes a requirement to work primarily in the office and flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
