Job summary

NorthCare Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join their friendly team in Hamilton. The role focuses on delivering high-quality primary care across immunisations, chronic disease management, acute triage, and preventive health services.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, maintaining high standards of care and building lasting relationships with patients and whānau in the community.

Qualifications

  • Hold a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
  • Solid experience in primary health care.
  • Be clinically confident and committed to maintaining high standards of care.
  • Comfortable working independently while being a strong team player.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We are looking for an experiencedNZ Registered Practice Nurseto join our friendly and supportive at NorthCare Pukete Road. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced nurse who enjoys the variety of primary care, values continuity of care, and wants to make a genuine difference for patients and whānau in our community.

You will work closely with our wider multidisciplinary team, using your experience, sharing your knowledge and continuing to develop your expertise. No two days are the same in primary care, and you will have the opportunity to use your broad range of nursing skills across:

  • Immunisations and cervical screening
  • Chronic condition management, including diabetes and asthma
  • Acute presentations and clinical triage
  • Health assessments, education and preventative care
  • Supporting patients and whānau to achieve better health outcomes

This role is based at our NorthCare Pukete Road clinic, where you will join a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team of administrators, nurses, doctors and other clinical staff who work closely together to provide excellent care for our patients. NorthCare is owned by Primary Health Care Limited (PHCL).
