Amherst Veterinary Hospital in Vancouver is seeking a Practice Manager to lead a busy veterinary team and drive operational excellence. You will manage staff scheduling, onboarding, coaching, and annual reviews, while coordinating Locum DVMs and RVTs to ensure smooth client experiences.

Qualifications

  • Veterinary Industry Knowledge and/or Project Management Experience: recommended to keep us running smoothly.
  • Clinical Experience: a bonus that will set you apart.
  • Team Management/Supervisory Experience (2-3 years).

  • Veterinary Software Systems Knowledge: improves processes.

Responsibilities

You'll use your empathy and problem-solving skills to swiftly resolve any issues, ensuring smooth operations and happy clients. Your day-to-day will involve striving for operational excellence, managing team schedules, and supporting talent acquisition efforts by sourcing Locum DVMs and RVTs as needed. You'll provide onboarding and coaching to new team members, conduct annual reviews, and offer feedback and support to help your team grow.

You’ll also manage inventory, budgets, and all financial aspects of the practice. You’ll also make a splash on social media, shouting about all the great things your team is inspiring and doing. Pay Rate: $60,000 - $70,000 / Year
