Do you have strong experience with large corporations and D&O? Are you a technical expert seeking to join a well respected brokerage and build out a legacy? Then this role is for you!

Our Client in Burnaby, BC is seeking a strong technical broker to work closely with the Producer and help them build out a new division. This is a fantastic opportunity to get in on the ground up with a new area within a strong established brokerage.

Our client is working exclusively associations to break new ground, and this Practice Leader will also be strategically involved inbuilding marketing materials and also working with these associations. And if you are not in the Vancouver area? No problem! You can either work remotely with periodical travel to BC or work from their office in Ontario (if you are in the East).

Ideally you have :

• Minimum 7 years experience placing D&O risks
• Must understand how to assess, structure, market, and place professional liability coverage for private and publicly traded entities.

Responsibilities include :

• Help build out a D&O team.
• Helping prepare submissions.
• Performing due diligence and wordings gap analysis.
• Accessing and presenting bench marking data to prospects and clients.
• Being lead on devising marketing strategies, negotiating rate, and coverages.
• Supporting producers with presentations to clients and prospects.
• Attending client and prospect events hosted by brokerage.
• Co-collaborating on developing marketing materials targeted at prospects.
• Ensuring internal compliance and documentation for E&O purposes.
• Brokerage lead for insurance market facing events related to professional liability.
• Overseeing support staff on day to day client needs.

Salary up to $200,000 depending on experience
