Job summary

Qualifications

• Current full registration with the BCCNM as an LPN, RN, or RDPN.
• Previous instructor experience is an asset.
• Experience with Office 365 and SIS is an asset.
• Excellent communication and mentorship skills.
• Ability to travel to local sites within region.

About the Role

Discovery Community College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practical Nurse Instructor to teach lab from our Maple Ridge BC campus. This position offers an opportunity to mentor and shape the next generation of nursing professionals through engaging and comprehensive instruction.

This role offers 28‑35 hours per week and has the potential to lead to future instructional opportunities, advancing your career in education.

Rate Range

PN: $34–45 (based on years of experience and levels of care)
RN: $40–60 (based on years of experience and levels of care)

Schedule

Tuesdays to Fridays, 8:00 am to 2:30 pm (plus 2 hours of office hours per week)

September 15 , 2026

Key Responsibilities
