Job summary

Centennial Auto Sport & Tire Charlottetown is seeking a Powersports Technician to join our skilled team in Charlottetown, PEI. This full-time, permanent role offers a structured schedule with some Saturday rotations and a competitive compensation package.

You’ll diagnose and repair motorcycles and powersports equipment, prepare units for delivery, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry developments.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Motorcycle Technician preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in powersports, small engine, or automotive repair is a strong asset.
• Must be reliable and show initiative.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcycles, ATVs, and powersports vehicles.
• Prep new units for customer delivery.
• Complete ongoing training to stay up to date on industry advancements.

Centennial Auto Sport & Tire Charlottetown is looking for a Powersports Technician to join our skilled team.

NOW HIRING: Powersports Technician

LOCATION: Centennial Auto Sport & Tire Charlottetown

HOURS: Full time, Permanent. 40-44 hours per week 8am-5pm. Saturday morning rotations 8am-12pm.

WAGES: $55,000 to $75,000 annually + benefits (negotiable based on experience)

A Red Seal Motorcycle Technician is preferred, but it is not required. Previous experience in powersports, small engine, automotive repair, or a similar mechanical environment is a strong asset. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is dependable, takes initiative, works well under pressure, and is eager to learn and grow with our team.

APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

• Red Seal Motorcycle Technician preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in powersports, small engine, or automotive repair is a strong asset
• Must be reliable and show initiative
• Strong multitasking and problem solving skills in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Valid Canadian driver’s license is required
• Physically capable of lifting approximately 50lbs and performing tasks like bending, crouching, and reaching.
• Additional training will be provided for the right candidate

MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on motorcycles, ATVs, and other powersports vehicles.
• Prep new units for customer delivery

• Provide excellent service to customers
• Assist with additional tasks as needed.
