Job summary

Southeast College seeks a motivated instructor to deliver the Powerline Technician program in Weyburn. You will teach Levels 1 through 4 of the Apprenticeship Training Program as outlined by the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission.

You will evaluate student progress, maintain records, and act as a subject matter expert for curriculum development, along with delivering hands-on training on safety, line work, theory, and related topics.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Solid knowledge of powerline work and its practical applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and learning management systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Instruct Levels 1–4 of the Powerline Technician Apprenticeship Technical Training Program.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records of marks.
• Serve as subject matter expert for curriculum development activities.
