Job summary

Hydro One, Ontario's largest electricity transmission and distribution provider, seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead a centralized project delivery team for capital power system projects. You will guide a team of Project Managers and integrate with environment, Indigenous relations, estimating, risk, and change management.

The role emphasizes reporting, cost/schedule control and process improvement within PMI/AACE-aligned methods. Occasional travel and leadership duties are required.

Qualifications

• Requires university degree in engineering, sciences or extensive experience in electrical utility construction management field.
• Experience in project management of power system projects (10–15 years).
• Experience supervising, managing or coaching a team of several professional staff.
• Experience with SAP is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop and maintain a team of professionals for a centralized project delivery department.
• Provide guidance and leadership of a team of Project Managers.
• Integrate the project management team with environment, Indigenous relations, estimating, risk, cost control, document control and change management.
• Create reports for management and supporting corporate level schedule meetings.
